Meetings | Rift Volcanism: Past, Present and Future

We organised a very successful international conference in Ethiopia in January 2019. This took place at the Haile Resort in Hawassa and there were around 70 delegates, including from the USA, Mexico, Australia, Iceland and of course Ethiopia.

We had a successful Science Meeting in Edinburgh on 23rd - 25th April 2018. Over 40 people attended, including colleagues from the UK, Iceland, Italy, Czech Republic, Ethiopia and the USA.

A full science meeting was held in July 2017 in the southern peaks when many of our international partners attended.

We had a successful interim meeting in Liverpool in January 2017, preceding the VSMG/TSG/BGA meeting which was held on 4-6th January at which several RiftVolc members presented.

A longer meeting on the Isle of Mull between 11th and 13th April 2016 with around 40 participants from Ethiopia, Iceland, Italy, France as well as the UK.
